Louisa Krause was born in New York City. Louisa Krause is an American actress. Brenda Woodberg, her first film role, was played by Babysitters. Krause initially studied drama as an undergraduate student, before appearing on Broadway as well as off Broadway productions. The family is of American and half-Japanese descent. Nathaniel is Nathaniel's younger brother and is an accomplished director. Her interest for the arts from a young age when she began studying dance at the Washington School of Ballet in Washington D.C. Once she was in high school, dance took a back seat when she began to perform in Henry Kriegers and Bill Russell's various musicals and plays such as Side Show as Violet Hilton. In the fall of her Senior year she enrolled at Carnegie Mellon Drama School. After a short time, Krause decided she was ready to begin her professional acting career. Krause earned her Equity certificate by appearing in a musical-based production of Aida. Louisa Krause got her start in the theater. She was a part of the Huntington Theatre Company's production. In 2007, she played Iphigenia at the Signature Theatre Company's Iphigenia 2 performance.
