Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani-Peruvian Muay Thai fighter, mixed martial artist who currently competing in the UFC flyweight division. She is the elder sister of the fellow UFC fighter and an earlier UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko began her professional journey as an Muay Thai kickboxer. Her debut was in 2003 at the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko was the winner of this tournament, beating Suzane Mill at the end of the tournament by a unanimous verdict. Antonina took home a trophy of silver in 2007, and a medal of bronze in 2008, and a medal gold in 2011. Antonina was also named IFMA Amateur World Muaythai Champion in the year 2016. Antonia's professional journey began in 2003. She won in 2012 in the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship and in 2016 it was the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship and in 2016, the WMC as well as the Phoenix FC World Championships. Antonina's latest fight came against Isa Tidblad Keskikangas at Phoenix Fighting Championship. She took victory by unanimity. Antonina shevchenko recorded her first professional MMA fight in 2002 with Anara bayanova during KFK's Cup in Kyrgystan. She won by TKO during the 2nd round. She went on to win two more fights in the WXF X-Impact World Championships, 2003. This gave her the record of 3-0 in MMA. Shevchenko had a brief break from MMA and concentrated on her boxing. Shevchenko made her comeback in 2017 when she fought Anissa Diddaoui. Shevchenko defeated Anissa through a unanimous decision, and then defeated Valerie Domergue at Phoenix FC 4. In 2018, she quit the contest and started participating in Dana White's Contender Series.
